⛔ Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (LB) — out — Chronic neck injury

Originally hurt in an October 2024 collision with Derrick Henry. Placed on reserve/PUP for a second straight season; not expected to play in 2026.

⛔ Coby Bryant (S) — out — Hyperextended left knee, bone bruise, small fracture - underwent surgery

HC Ben Johnson announced Aug. 11 that Bryant underwent knee surgery and will now miss 4-6 months, a significant setback from the initial 8-10 week outlook (surgery wasn't originally expected). Bears remain hopeful he could be available if Chicago makes the playoffs. Was Chicago's marquee free-agent addition this offseason (3-year, $40M deal).

⛔ Kyler Gordon (CB) — out — Calf strain (soft-tissue)

Opened training camp on the PUP list with a calf injury that also sidelined him for OTAs and minicamp. GM Ryan Poles said Aug. 6 there's been a frustrating 'delay' in his recovery with no firm return timetable; Gordon says he believes he'll be ready soon.

⛔ Luther Burden III (WR) — out — Groin injury

Hurt getting tangled up with CB Tyrique Stevenson on the final rep of red-zone one-on-ones. Expected to miss the rest of the preseason (about a month) but the Bears believe he'll be ready for the Sept. 13 opener at Carolina. Poised for a bigger role after the DJ Moore trade to Buffalo; caught 47 passes for 652 yards and 2 TDs as a rookie in 2025.
